Jaden Smith gives honor to whom it is due in his latest single, ‘Offering.’ In the song, the teen recognizes his father as someone filled with wisdom.
“My dad said to beat the system, understand it first,” raps Jaden. “My dad’s an inspiration, I respect the man and work / And everything you say is something that you can’t reverse / Something that you can’t rehearse.” Although the song is considered by many to be a tribute to Will from his son, Jaden shared the Souncloud link with Twitter fans earlier this week and told them that his new single was an “offering to the world.”
The young star has been giving much to the world as of late. It was just a few days ago that Jaden was featured in a YouTube video published by Whole Foods Market that stressed the importance of pollination. The video presentation featured Jaden talking about the shortage of honeybees and hummingbirds. He told viewers that “without pollination, a third of the world’s food supply would disappear.” Check out the informative video below.
Jaden is Will and Jada Smith’s only son together. The couple also have a daughter named Willow. Will Smith has three kids in all.
