Anyone who caught last night’s episode of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ saw Ajiona Alexus in action. The young star portrayed her role well as an athlete suffering from a spinal injury. Emotions were definitely high as fans watched Ajiona work alongside Living Single’s Erika Alexander.
“Working on the set of Grey’s Anatomy was one of the best experiences of my career,” said the young star in a statement. “The veteran cast was fun to work with, especially Sara Ramirez, Caterina Scorsone and Jason George who made me feel right at home. I learned the most while working on set with other experienced actors.” Although she did not have the opportunity to meet the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes, Ajiona thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with series director, Paul McCrane. “His hands-on, high energy style really brought out the best in me.”
