Monday was a good day for Michael Strahan and his daughters. The television host took his girls with him to Washington D.C., for the annual Easter Egg Roll held at the White House. Isabella and Sophia joined Kelly Ripa and her son in a fun day of games and camaraderie.
This year’s Easter Egg Roll was a success with more than 35,000 people in attendance. Thousands of children, along with their parents, gathered on the South Lawn to engage in a bit of egg rolling as well as other activities. The theme for this year’s event was ‘#GimmeFive,’ which centered around First Lady Michelle Obama’s ‘Let’s Move’ initiative. In addition to fun and games, kids were also encouraged to lead healthy lives through diet and exercise. Parents were also urged to pursue health and wellness.
Michael Strahan certainly enjoyed the festivities as he expressed his excitement on Instagram after the event concluded. “Had a great day with my girls at the @WhiteHouse for the #EasterEggRoll,” wrote the star. Isabella and Sophia are his daughters with ex-wife Jean Muggli. Strahan also has a son, Michael Jr., and daughter, Tanita, who are young adults.
