Reginae Carter will always come to her father’s defense. The teen recently spoke on Lil Wayne’s behalf after Young Thug announced plans to name his next album, Carter 6.
“Is he trying to be funny with this Carter6? Cause it’s pretty childish to me,” tweeted Reginae. She later wrote, “Try again if you’re even trying to get on my fathers level. I usually stay in a child’s place but that’s my father and I’ll stick up for him no matter what! It was not to be disrespectful.”
In addition to defending her father’s honor, Miss Carter is preparing to host a Teen Power Brunch. The event will seek to empower youth to accomplish their goals, and give practical tools needed for success. Toya Wright, Reginae’s mother, will assist her daughter in hosting the event, which will be held on April 19, 2015.
Reginae is Toya and Lil Wayne’s only child together. The teen celebrated her sixteenth birthday a few weeks ago.
