Shopping for toys is serious business for Kanye West. The rapper tells Clique TV that he only wants his daughter, North, to play with quality gizmos.
“I gave my daughter these toys and I was complaining about some of the toys that my daughter had and I was saying these toys don’t have enough quality, soul, life, energy in them,” says the rapper. “Then Vanessa Beecroft bought her these wolves that were very life-like and when my daughter saw them she started screaming and running around and [that] was the happiest I’d ever seen her.”
West also shares his heart about racism by telling Clique, “It’s like a bouncing ball in a room of two cats or something. When you don’t feel like playing with the cat, you throw this bouncing ball and let them literally fight over the bouncing ball. And the bouncing ball has nothing, no purpose, other than it bounces. That’s racism.”
He adds, “I want to see, before I pass, 5-year-olds being at 10 times the level of a current human 5-year-old right now by removing all separatist concepts or not letting them bear or weigh you down.”
Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian have one child together. North will celebrate her second birthday on June 15, 2015.
