Aurora Perrineau is on her way to the top. The 20-year-old daughter of actor Harold Perrineau will appear in not one, but three films this year: Kitchen Sink, a movie about zombies and vampires; Equals, a futuristic love story ; and Jem and the Holograms, a modern update on an ’80s animated series.
For her role in Jem and the Holograms, Aurora had to learn to play the drums. “I had a set put in my house, which I’m sure the neighbors hated. I was drumming 24/7, but I have to say, some people are definitely born more coordinated than others,” she tells W Magazine. “I am not one of those people.”
Perrineau’s resume includes an appearance on the TV series “Pretty Little Liars,” as well as a role in the 2013 indie film “A House Is Not a Home.”
