A few high school girls from North Carolina will be attending their prom in style, thanks to Jada Crawley-Paul. The wife of Los Angeles ‘Clippers’ player Chris Paul recently hosted a dress giveaway in which she paid for the formal gowns of fifty girls who will be attending their senior prom in May.
The young ladies had the opportunity to shop alongside Jada, and select the gown that was right for them. The experience was more than a giveaway as Mrs. Paul interacted with the recipients and shared her expertise on style and etiquette with them.
Jada and her husband have given back to society in a number of ways since establishing their foundation in 2005. Chris formed the non-profit in honor of his grandfather, and partnered with The Winston-Salem Foundation in hopes of nurturing the community in which he was reared. The NBA star has since established a scholarship through his foundation that, every year, gives one underprivileged high school student from Forsyth County the opportunity to attend Wake Forest University.
Chris and Jada Paul are the proud parents of a son, Chris II, and daughter, Camryn. Learn more about the Chris Paul Foundation here.
