Idris Elba and daughter Isan were two of many stars to attend the 2015 Academy Awards at the Hollywood and Highland Center in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday. The father and daughter were certainly dressed to impress as they graced the red carpet in beautiful formal wear. In particular, Isan’s dress was simply gorgeous with a color and style that was truly unique.
Although he takes his daughter with him when attending certain events in Hollywood, Idris has expressed little desire to move to Tinseltown in coming years. “I won’t be moving [to LA],” said the star during one interview. “I don’t want to get into all of that. I don’t want my family growing up here. That isn’t me, it just isn’t. I rented a place on my own in North Hollywood, but the time I spent here was on my own. I’m not into the whole fame thing.”
He may not be into fame but fans are certainly stuck on him. Idris has been a part of several successful films that include the most recent movie No Good Deed, which featured him acting alongside Taraji P. Henson. Thousands watched the film just to see Taraji, and thousands more went to the movie theater to see Idris on the big screen.
Idris Elba is the proud father of two children. Isan is his eldest child.
