It was a Valentine’s Day to remember for Monica Brown as she took the stage in Jackson, Mississippi, with family by her side. Rodney Jr., Romelo, and Laiyah cheered their mom on as she sang some of her greatest hits. The kids even took the stage and greeted fans when prompted by Monica.

“Laiyah was just waking up but still waved hello,” wrote Monica on Instagram. “Romelo and Rocko were right on the side of the stage… As a mother that’s motivation to do my best every second!!! In addition to having the support of her kids, Monica had the encouragement of her husband, Shannon Brown. The star athlete went with his wife to Jackson, and proudly watched as Monica performed. “With you love is ever present , each day is Valentines Day.. Thank U for making me feel special & giving me the type of love I can sing to the heavens about,” wrote the singer.
