Amber Rose was one of many to participate in Laurel DeWitt’s show during Fashion Week for Fall 2015. The model and recording artist wore a beautiful chainmail-style dress as she graced the runway.
While many admire her ability to juggle several career projects while being a mother, Amber tells BlackCelebKids.com that her successful balance between parenthood and work is the result of good co-parenting. “I just know that Sebastian has a really great dad, that allows me to work. And when he works, I have the baby and we switch off and Sebastian is really lucky to have a great family.”
Many thought that Amber and estranged husband Wiz Khalifa were having major problems with co-parenting after the rapper tweeted about women who use children to spite men. Several fans assumed that Wiz was referring to his estranged wife but Amber tells media that nothing could be further from the truth. “He was mad that I cut Sebastian’s hair,” explains Rose. “[He] obviously wanted his hair to be long … but the boy needed a haircut!”
Still in all, Wiz and Amber are working through their differences for the sake of their son. “We love our son and that’s the most important thing,” says the star. As far as her favorite design at the Laurel DeWitt fashion show is concerned, Amber says she loves “all of them.”
Amber and Wiz have one child, Sebastian, together.
