Bella Harris is going the way of fashion with a new contract with L.A. Models. The daughter of Jimmy Jam recently signed on with the agency in hopes of progressing as a model.
“She signed at 13 years, 5 feet 10 inches tall,” says mom Lisa Harris. Both she and Bella are excited about the representation that L.A. Models will give, and the fact that the agency saw fit to place Bella in the women’s division instead of the teen sector. “They like her story,” shares Lisa. “Her dad a producer and [former chairman of the] Grammys, plus her uncle [Kevin Garnett] is in the NBA. I have been reading articles about kids of celebs in modeling who are forging their own way. She is in development now and very excited.”
Mrs. Harris tells media that Bella will undergo a molding process that will include workshops on runway modeling and more. “Bella and me are looking at this as more like a business for her, so we can travel and get her a Plan B for school,” explains Lisa. “Colleges want more than a straight-A student now. Now, when you go to college you need to have invented something to get in. This is one of those things where I hope she can really succeed.”
And if she does? “She’s still going to college.” Jimmy and Lisa Harris parent three kids together.
