Happy Birthday Ming! The eldest daughter of Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons celebrated her fifteenth birthday on Wednesday. The teen celebrated with family and a number of close friends.
“Happy birthday to my little love #MingLee!! You’re a Big Girl now! Mama loves you s much! I’m so proud of all that you’ve become,” wrote Kimora on Instagram. The fashion mogul also shared a throwback picture of her daughter that featured her wearing a tiara. Kimora also posted an updated picture of Ming wearing a crown and wrote, “Tiara then… Tiara now! Happy 15th Birthday #MingLee!! So proud of you! Beautiful inside and out.”
Russell gave his daughter well wishes on her birthday, and recognized Kimora as an incredible mom. “Raising the United nations,” wrote the star on Instagram. “Amazing mother gave me amazing daughter.”
The celebrated entrepreneur has doted on his children’s mother during several talks with media. “We’ve always been [friends],” said Russell during one interview. “She’s an amazing mother.”
Kimora gave birth to Ming on January 21, 2000. She is the first of two children between Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons.
