After becoming a major success in the music industry, Trevor Jackson has not given up on acting. In 2015 he will be starring in the feature film Sons to the Grave, which just began filming in Atlanta, GA.
From the director of Forrest Gump, Con Air, and Heat comes a drama about the detrimental effect fear can have on a young community. When an 18-year-old basketball prodigy, Marcus Jennings (Trevor Jackson), is killed late one night everyone suddenly goes silent. The bridge where Marcus was taken out divides two neighbourhoods, creating even stronger divisions. Marcus’ basketball fame also raises questions about who is a friend, who is an enemy, and who is dangerously envious. The tight-lipped youth will quickly become bonded by their secrets, and by their fear.
Alongside Trevor Jackson will be Darrin Dewitt Henson (Stomp the Yard), Justin Martin (Flight), and Demetria McKinney (House of Payne).
Meanwhile, the young star is gearing up for his debut album, featuring the newest single, “Know Your Name.”
