After making history on the court during the second quarter against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kobe Bryant posed with his wife and children at a ceremony in his honor.
Kobe received an ovation and chanting from Wolves fans after the Laker surpassed Michael Jordan’s scoring record of 32,292 points, bumping him to fourth place. The Lakers took the game, 100-94, with Kobe scoring a team-high of 26 points.
His wife Vanessa, and daughters, Natalia (11) and Gianna (8) stood proudly by the NBA star’s side for celebratory photos. The couple married in California back in 2001 and, despite some publicized issues, have made it through time and time again.
The couple currently runs the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, which is dedicated to families in need all over the world. It provides financial support to the development of educational and cultural enrichment programs for children after-school.
