Laila Ali and the family didn’t let the ‘Let’s Celebrate’ presentation by Disney On Ice pass through Los Angeles without attending the event on Thursday. The legendary boxer and her kids took a few pictures with Mickey Mouse while on the red carpet, and got a full view of the show from their seats. Laila’s husband, Curtis Conway, held little Sydney in his arms as the little one posed for pictures.
Although she has built a legacy for herself, Laila always reflects on the incredible heart of her father that captivated and changed a nation. “I think that the greatest lesson I learned from my father is just having compassion towards people,” said Laila during an interview. The former boxer further explained her father’s legacy as it relates to her children by telling media, “I just think about when they actually figure out, and learn and understand, who their grandfather is, it’s going to be amazing because he stood for so much. Just what he stood for, and to know that that same blood runs through their veins, they’re going to feel so empowered. So I’m excited and I definitely want to be there when they finally get it.”
Laila and husband Curtis Conway have two kids, Sydney and Curtis Jr., together. Laila is the youngest daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali.
