Toni Braxton is taking her ex-husband to court. TheJasmineBrand.com exclusively reports that the R&B singer has filed legal documents with the Georgia court system demanding Keri Lewis pay the child support he owes for their kids.
According to the media source,
“The Braxton Family Values star filed the child support contempt lawsuit on October 31st in Georgia court against her ex Keri Lewis. The case is in regards to support that Lewis is to pay Braxton for their children Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis and Diezel Ky Braxton-Lewis.”
Keri is obligated by law to give Toni $2,000 per month in child support for Denim and Diezel. He, however, has not been paying the amount, and Toni is seeking a court order that would force him to give her back child support and stay on track with debits.
A Georgia judge is expected to hear and render a verdict in the matter in coming weeks. Toni Braxton and Keri Lewis were married for twelve years before divorcing in 2013.
