It’s all about apps these days. The more tech-savvy and aware children get, the more new apps the public can expect.
For the Smith kids, Jaden and Willow, everything is about being groundbreaking, moving forward, and creating buzz. So it’s no surprise they are developing apps that aim to change the way people experience their music.
The mobile app, “Jaden Experience”, does just that. It’s more than a tool for listening to music, it’s a tool for being involved in the music. This springs from the app’s restrictions on rewinding and fast-forwarding. App designer Phil Elias of Pointburst said that the concept was all Jaden’s own, describing the young star’s role in the development as “very hands on”.
It might all sound a little bombastic — Jaden reportedly said users were to simply “sit back and enjoy [his] music” — but it seems to be working. According to Elias, Jaden is getting “amazing longevity of listeners.” So what’s next? More features, of course.
The pair are looking to add live video streams, behind-the-scenes clips, and anything that will keep Jaden’s fans in the know.
Moreover, Willow has her own app in the works. Elias spilled that hers will be very much like “Jaden Experience”, but will come with its own set of “special quirks.”
Check out Jaden’s new album, CTV2, through his custom app called the Jaden Experience.
