Phaedra Parks ad her boys are moving forward despite the turmoil they have endured because of Apollo’s incarceration. An inside source recently told RadarOnline that the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star allows her sons to communicate with their father by telephone, and sends Apollo pictures that the boys create.
“Phaedra lets the boys talk with their father anytime and every time he calls,” said family spokesman Steve Honig. “They last spoke as recently as yesterday.” The representative also told media that Parks sends Apollo drawings and letters that the boys create for him. “She goes out of her way to enable the boys to communicate with their father, and anyone who says otherwise is lying.”
Phaedra has faced much criticism since her estranged husband pleaded guilty to fraud. “I’ve been criticized for not being at Apollo’s hearing,” wrote the Reality TV star in a recent blog post. “The truth is I had been there for him in so many ways for such a long time. By the time all of this went down, it was apparent the marriage was over and my focus needed to be exclusively on the well-being of our children. I don’t think there’s a parent out there who wouldn’t agree.”
Apollo and Phaedra have two sons, Ayden and Dylan, together. The ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star announced her plans to divorce her husband of six years a few weeks back.
