Monroe and Moroccan are technologically savvy kids, thanks to society and dad. Nick Cannon recently told Mashable that he makes sure his kids interact with the latest gadgets on the market.
“They love using the Ncredible tablet (Cannon’s personal tablet), reading a lot of the interactive books and apps. Also, they keep the same apps on my phone so, they love using Daddy’s phone and they’re been on that for quite some time, since they were like one [years old] they were tablet savvy.”
Although he takes joy in exposing his kids to technology, Nick also explained that there should be a balance between computer and human interaction. “If they’re not exposed to technology in a great way, they’ll be behind,” said the actor. However, “You don’t want them to be so consumed with a device or being online that they become anti-social, but at the same time, you wanna make sure that they’re in the know.”
Cannon further explained, “It’s all about balancing. You make sure that they have books and reading time and social time, physical time. And when you can, you also give them the freedom to explore and figure out who they are through technology, as well.”
Nick Cannon and estranged wife Mariah Carey have two kids together.
