Quvenzhane Wallis joined many other celebrities in paying tribute to the American Museum of Natural History at this year’s ‘CNN Heroes’ event. The young star, along with Nick Jones, presented the Young Wonder Awards.
Miss Wallis certainly is a young wonder in her own right as she has starred in several hit films and holds the record as the youngest Oscar Award nominee. Quvenzhane will once again be seen at her finest when the 2014 remake of Annie debuts next month. The young star portrays the orphaned Annie, who is always optimistic about the sun shining in on her situation. Jamie Foxx portrays the wealthy Will Stacks, who comes along and finally shows Annie the finer things in life.
Taye Diggs and Kelly Ripa were also in attendance at this year’s ‘CNN Heroes’ ceremony. Annie comes to theaters on December 19, 2014.
