They Shmoney danced and talked about their highly anticipated film. Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhane Wallis stopped by the ‘Queen Latifah’ show, and lit up the stage with their energy.
“I did see the original Annie, and I liked it a lot,” said Quvenzhane when asked about her role as the star of the upcoming film. “I kept watching it over, and over, and over again.”
Quvenzhane and Jamie form a father-daughter bond onset that exudes when the cameras roll. “There were times where you really feel that connection of me being her father,” shared Jamie with Queen Latifah. “I think you need that. I think you need that connection in order for the movie to really make sense. So there were times when you really feel that.”
Jamie and Quvenzhane were sure to engage in the Shmoney dance with Queen Latifah before leaving the show. You can catch Annie in theaters on December 19, 2014.
