Little League baseball player Mo’ne Davis attended a dinner celebrating Women Who Dare hosted by Panthere De Cartier And Harper’s Bazaar at Skylight Clarkson Studios on November 12, 2014 in New York City.
The 13-year-old, who is the first girl in history to pitch a shutout game in the Little League World Series, was named among Harper Bazaar’s “Women Who Dare” last month.
Though she may be a formidable baseball player, Mo’ne revealed to the publication that she wants to play basketball for U Conn one day. “Basketball is my favorite sport, actually” she confirmed. And yet, she was only 9 or 10 years old when she began to recognize how she excelled at baseball. “I just had control” she explained.
