She began as a 5-year-old actress in Beasts of the Southern Wild, and now she’s gearing up for her public debut as the beloved ‘Annie.’ Quvenzhane Wallis has done much in Hollywood, and she has a spread in the December issue of V magazine to show for it.
Wallis was wearing a formal dress for the photo shoot that was conducted by Albert Watson. The design of Quvenzhane’s outfit, when coupled with the actress’ hair and makeup, gave her the classic ‘Annie’ look.
Quvenzhane recently stopped by ‘Good Morning America’ to talk about her role as the orphan Annie. “It was really fun to, like, sing all the songs,” said the young star. “[Jamie Foxx] was really funny. He was really sweet. He was like the nicest man I’ve ever met. It was really fun to, like, see all the things with him and, like, make jokes. …He’s really talented and really funny,” added the actress.
