Even the biggest celebs are simply starstruck when it comes to My Little Pony.
The Hollywood Movie Premier of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls Rainbow Rock was attended by some of the industry’s favourite celebrity kids and parents alike. Big names from Scandal, Parenthood, Haunted Hathaways and more piled onto the Purple Carpet to be the first to experience the magic.
Both Jamie Foxx and his Annie co-star Quvenzhane Wallis made appearances. In fact, Quvenzhane stayed after the show with Aubrey Anderson-Emmons of Modern Family to take photos with their favorite Little Ponies. Excited to let her fandom show, the 12 Years a Slave actress even took the time to name all of the characters.
This Christmas, Quvenzhane will be portraying a family movie icon herself. She is the first black girl to land the role of Annie in this hip re-imagining, produced by Jay-Z and Will Smith. The film is highly anticipated with a stellar cast including Jamie Foxx as William Stacks (once known as Daddy Warbucks), alongside Cameron Diaz and Rose Byrne.
It’s safe to say Quvezhane has had to adapt to being surrounded by stars very quickly. It’s no secret that Hollywood can age you, but getting to attend events like this means the starlet truly gets to indulge in her childhood.
The My Little Pony Premiere was held at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres.
