The media took a pause for North when the little one attended her first fashion show in Paris earlier this week. While many were expecting the little one to make her first appearance in due time, few thought Nori would be sitting front row and center at her first fashion show before turning 2-years-old.
Kim explained how North scored a spot at fashion week in Paris during an exclusive interview with Yahoo! Style. “She started to cry when we were walking out the door, and we couldn’t leave her,” said the reality star. “It was a spur-of-the-moment thing. But it was an amazing fashion show for her to be at for her first show.”
In addition to it being North’s first fashion show, the little one’s appearance was also the first time that the general public has seen her walking. North held her mother’s hand as she walked through photographers and fans who were surprised and delighted to see her making strides on her own in Paris.
Kim shared the joy of watching her daughter take her first steps in July. “Our baby girl finished one week of swimming lessons today then took her 1st steps right when she got out of the pool!!!! Mommy & Daddy are so proud of you,” tweeted the star.
North is Kim and Kanye West’s first child together. The couple wed earlier this year.
