Sony Pictures recently released the advertisement poster for the upcoming remake of Annie, and Quvenzhane Wallis is the center of attraction. The young star stands in the middle of Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, and Cameron Diaz as she and her dog make a lasting impression.
The upcoming version of Annie features Quvenzhane as star and Cameron Diaz as her incredibly mean foster mother. Miss Hannigan (Diaz) forces Annie (Wallis) to clean the house from top to bottom, and attempts to smother any hopes that the youngster has of doing big things when she gets older. It isn’t until the wealthy Benjamin Stacks (Jamie Foxx) comes along that the main character realizes that there is great potential beyond her foster mom’s apartment in Harlem. Although many versions have debuted since the original musical hit the stage during the 20th century, this remake will surely melt your heart away.
Annie premieres on December 19, 2014. This will be Quvenzhane’s fourth major motion picture. The tween also starred in 12 Years A Slave and Beasts of the Southern Wild.
