Zendaya went with a bold military-inspired look for this year’s BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards. The young actress was recently featured on House of Style, and if you had the opportunity to catch the episode, you certainly know that her style is surprisingly diverse. Nevertheless, this red-carpet outfit choice was a shocker. Complete with a military cap, the 17-year-old sported a shiny olive two-piece number and bright yellow shoes. And her dark plum lipstick only made it edgier.
Posing with the starlet on the carpet was Ludacris, who received the President’s Award for his work with the Ludacris Foundation, and his outstanding musical career.
While there, Zendaya snagged herself the award for Social Star. The Disney Channel celeb has been promoting her upcoming TV show, K.C. Undercover, after stepping away from the role of Aaliyah in Lifetime’s controversial biopic. The show is set to premier early in 2015.
