The OMG Girlz are all grown up, and not afraid to show it. The trio’s newest single, “Boy It’s Over”, is a song to give confidence to young women looking to get out of a bad relationship. The image that accompanies the song on YouTube has the girls looking sexy, and stylish.
Their new angle is not going unnoticed. As the YouTube comments accumulate, fans are expressing their happy surprise. One listener wrote, “I honestly like this better then all them childish songs.” Another said “THEY GROWN NOW BABY”.
The song is a remake of the Jagged Edge classic, “Girl It’s Over,” a nod to how closely the girls have been working with Brandon and Brian Casey.
The group formed in 2010 with four members, one of which was Reginae Carter. After a couple line-up changes they were signed to Interscope/Streamline Records via Pretty Hustle/Grand Hustle, labels by rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny. Today, the members are Zonnique Pullins AKA Miss Star (Tiny’s daughter from a previous marriage), Baha Rodriguez AKA Miss Beauty, and Breaunna Womack AKA Miss Babydoll. But listening to this new single, it seems they may not be using their young nicknames for much longer.
