Garcelle Beauvais is getting Jaid and Jax ready for an amazing school year with the freshest gear around. The actress shares her plans for Fall shopping with Us Weekly.
“Unlike some twins, Jax and Jaid don’t want to dress alike,” says Garcelle of her decision to purchase Catimini reversible cardigans this year. The jackets have two different prints that make them perfect for everyday use.
The star also plans to buy her kids plaid shorts from the Children’s Place that she says will speak of their varied personalities. “Jaid’s funkier in style than Jax. He can wear any color T-shirt with these,” explains the star. “Jax would wear a sports jersey every day if I let him.”
Although she respects their individuality, there are some things on Garcelle’s list that have little to do with Jaid and Jax’s independent styles. The twins’ boots, for instance, will be basic but durable Sperry Top-Spider Chukkas. “I love the neutral color for fall,” says Garcelle. “The boys love the bright-yellow laces.”
Beauvais also tells media that her sons’ backpacks will sport dinosaurs and the twins will be equipped with Reduce WaterWeek water bottles. Jaid and Jax are Garcelle’s children with ex-husband Mike Nilon. The actress has three kids in all.
