Zoe Saldana stepped out at the London premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy wearing a beautiful dress that showed off her growing bump. The actress posed in a manner that brought special attention to her stomach. In one photo, Zoe cradled her bump and smiled wide as photographers took several shots of her.
Saldana officially confirmed her expectancy with media a few days ago by way of her publicist. Although the actress did tell The Hollywood Reporter that she was pregnant, she did not confirm whether or not she was expecting twins.
In addition to sharing the good news of her pregnancy, Zoe also discussed how she and Marco Perego met. “I’ve known my partner for five years,” said Saldana. “I knew of his work. I knew of him. Then we met. And months later, we both made the decision to do what we both individually vowed never to do — to get married.” The actress added, “As soon as we decided we were going to get married, we didn’t wait. We did it three weeks later. That part was very, very quick.”
Zoe is one of the stars in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy. Although she has done other films in different genres, the actress told the Hollywood Reporter that her heart lies with Sci-Fi. “I grew up in a very science fiction-driven household,” explained Saldana. “It was odd for me to grow up and go out in the world and not see other women going crazy for science fiction.”
The Peregos are expecting their first child together. The couple wed last year.
