The HAIRFINITY® campaign will feature a coming-of-age mini series titled Becoming Reginae, which will focus on the starlet’s journey into becoming a young businesswoman and breaking out into her career as a recording artist through her music video premiere for her new single, Mind Goin’ Crazy. The daughter of rap superstar Lil Wayne, and reality television personality Toya Wright, Reginae hopes to give fans exclusive insight into her life through this exciting new initiative.

Webisode 1 delves right in, introducing Reginae as she sets off to get her driving permit. The eight minute video, shot over one month, features interviews with Reginae, her mother, her personal trainer and her body guard Harvey. In it, the rising star discusses life in the limelight, as we follow her from the DMV, to the gym, where she is training for her upcoming video, and of course, to the hair salon.

“Since I been using Hairfinity I’ve found my hair a lot stronger and I can really maintain it myself for a couple of days, but” she adds, “I still have to go to Mahogany Hair Studio.”

At the hair salon, we get to witness Reginae’s excitement when she finds out her father, Lil’ Wayne, has mentioned her name in a song yet again. This time, the lyric promises her a Ferarri, to which she promptly responds by calling him and jokingly telling him she will hold him to his word.

Although Reginae is up to a whole lot these days, as a recording artist, and an entrepreneur for her very own clothing line, Reginae Carter Collection, it seems these ventures are just the tip of the iceberg. “I’m also into hair care,” Reginae explains. “Growing up watching my mom take care of her hair… I just wanted to get into hair also, like her.”

Now, the Junior Ambassador for Hairfinity, Reginae is without a doubt a quickly rising star. And she’s loving every minute of it. “I love when people come up to me and ask for pictures. I just love the limelight.” She says, “It’s great to have people actually knowing your name… I love my fans.”
