The couple have reportedly named their newborn Alijah, meaning “The Lord is my God.”

Alijah is apparently an American spin-off from “Elijah,” which is associated with a great prophet in the Bible who called down fire from heaven. Elijah was taken up by a chariot when his time on earth was done, and left his assistant, Elisha, to carry on the task of guiding the Israelites.

Kendra and Hank welcomed their daughter into the world five days ago. Kendra reportedly underwent a C-section to give birth to her and Hank’s second child. The star told media a few weeks ago that little Hank, the couple’s son, couldn’t wait to have a little sister. “Other than the nursery not being ready, we are prepared for this new little girl in our lives,” said Wilkinson. “Little Hank is so excited to be a big brother.”

Kendra and Hank Baskett wed in 2009.
