Apollo Nida is awaiting his sentence after pleading guilty to fraud, and says that the possibility of not being around his kids bothers him most.
“I grew up without a mother and a father so what hurts me the most at the end of the day is the fact that I could potentially be leaving my sons,” says the reality star. “I resonate [most] with Ayden more because he’s 4 years old now, so when he cries out for me and I’m not there for him…”
Apollo was accused of committing bank and mail fraud a few months ago after the courts accused him of being a part of an operation that involved identity theft and conspiracy. Nida has assumed full responsibility for his role in the crimes, and tells media that “things happen in life. It doesn’t take away from my character and who I am as a person…people make mistakes.”
Apollo Nida and wife Phaedra Parks have two sons, Ayden and Dylan, together. The Nidas are featured on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ which airs weekly on BravoTV .
