NBA player Stephen Curry’s wife , Ayesha Curry, recently did a “Mommy Tag” vlog in which she revealed that she works from home so she can spend precious moments with her daughter, Riley. “I feel extremely grateful to be able to stay home with Riley,” said the basketball wife. “And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Ayesha went on to talk about how she has the opportunity to be there for every life-changing moment that Riley experiences. “I mean, for you moms out there, you know that kids change every single day. They come home with something new, they learn something new, they’re saying new words and it’s incredible. I feel so lucky to be able to share every single moment with Riley. So I really wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Although Curry has the option of working from home, some moms don’t have the opportunity to stay home with their kids. A survey taken in 2012 revealed that nearly 50% of single parent households are headed by mothers who have to serve as both breadwinner and nurturer to their kids.
