Thumbs up to self confidence! Tyrese recently gave his daughter a lesson on what it means to believe in oneself.
“When you have confidence, when you say your name, you look someone in their face and you say what? ‘Hi, my name is [Shayla Gibson],'” said the all-around entertainer. “This is all I’m saying to you. ‘It doesn’t matter what they think of me, I know what I think of myself.’ I am, repeat after me, ‘I am great. I am amazing.’ Say it louder with more confidence. ‘I am significant. I am smart. I am beautiful. I am special. I can stand up with all the confidence in the world. I can look at any man or woman in their face and say I’m Shayla Gibson.'” Shay repeated after her father, giggling in between phrases because of the humor her dad exerted while teaching.
