Alesha Dixon is a new mom and loving every bit of it. The singer recently shared the joys of parenting with media, telling several sources that baby Azura is a wonderful family addition.
“Every day I look at Azura and I think: ‘I can’t believe she’s mine’. I feel so lucky,” said Alesha to Fabulous magazine. The singer also shared her joy with OK! telling the publication, “I was never the most maternal one of my friends, but I’ve surprised myself with how much I love being a mom. When I’m at work she’s constantly on my mind so I’m always asking for photos and checking she’s alright.”
Dixon went on to admit that detachment from her newborn is tough. “It does pull at my heart,” explained the star to OK! “It’s not easy, but I always say to myself: ‘She’s with her dad, she’s with her nan, she’s fine’. It’s a juggling act, but millions of women do it.”
Alesha Dixon welcomed Azura into the world on October 7, 2013. The precious little one is the singer’s first child with boyfriend Azuka Ononye.
