Chris Rock and the family enjoyed a bit of slime and fun this past Saturday (March 29) at the 27th Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. The event was held at the USC Galen Center near Downtown Los Angeles, and featured Chris Rock as an award presenter.
The actor had a few words while standing next to his daughter Zahra onstage. Although usually over-the-top in personality, Rock was pretty calm during his speech.
Chris has deemed fatherhood as the greatest experience, telling media that spending quality time with his children is priceless. “When I hear people talk about juggling, or the sacrifices they make for their children, I look at them like they’re crazy, because ‘sacrifice’ infers that there was something better to do than being with your children,” says the star. “Being with my kids is the best, most fun thing, it’s a privilege. It’s not something I call a sacrifice.”
Chris and wife Malaak Compton-Rock have two kids, Lola and Zahra, together.
