The I Have A Dream foundation was delighted to announce its decision to honor LL Cool J last month telling media that the all-around entertainer along with two other honorees, “inspire hopes and dreams in others, and are truly role models for our Dreamers.” Thomas V. Girardi, attorney at law, and Nne Ebong, SVP of Drama Development at ABC, were also selected as honorees at the Dreamer Dinner receiving the Dream Keeper Award for all of their efforts.
I Have A Dream foundation has been sponsoring students in the Los Angeles area for more than two decades. Established in 1987, I Have A Dream has managed to nurture thousands of kids from their humble beginnings in elementary school to the climatic point of graduation from high school. Proceeds from this year’s dinner will serve as scholarship money to youth who need it most.
LL Cool J has four kids with his wife, Simone.
