Meet the tiny version of Oscar winner Lupita N’yongo. This little beauty stepped on the red carpet earlier this week to conduct a photo shoot with Toddlewood that mirrored Lupita’s confidence and glamor at the 2014 Academy Awards. N’yogongo won the award for Supporting Actress for her role as Patsy in 12 Years A Slave.
It was just a few days ago that Lupita gave a lesson to young girls about inner beauty that shines forth at the ESSENCE ‘Black Women in Hollywood’ luncheon. “[Beauty] was something I just had to be,” said the star to attendees. “And what my mother meant when she said, ‘you can’t eat beauty’ is that you can’t rely on how you look to sustain you. What actually sustains us—what is fundamentally beautiful—is compassion for yourself and for those around you. That kind of beauty inflames the heart and enchants the soul.”
More of Lupita’s story and other current events can be found in this week’s version of ‘A Celebrity Baby Blog.’
