Sasha,12, and Malia,15, are growing and becoming more independent each day. First Lady Michelle Obama tells Jimmy Fallon that her and President Barack Obama’s daughters don’t want to have much to do with their famous parents.
“You know, it’s really interesting. My kids, they’re 15 and 12, and they want nothing to do with us,” says the First Lady. “They really want normalcy, and the White House isn’t normal.”
Michelle further explains, “One of the things that I’ve told my staff, I’ve told the Secret Service, is that when we’re out of here, in a few years, they’ve got to be able to function as normal people. And so driving is a part of that. So we’re going to have to figure that out. Ladies and gentlemen in D.C., watch out!”
Imagine Sasha and Malia driving! The Obama girls will celebrate their thirteenth and sixteenth birthdays this Summer.
