Nannies beware! Mariah Carey is on the prowl. The singer recently stopped by ‘The Breakfast Club’ and revealed that she has no problem firing nannies who try to take her place as mom.
“I am very hands on. I fire nannies like this,” said Mariah while snapping her fingers. The singer further explained, “I have to because if they try to make themselves more important in the babies minds than me … I just brought a girl back with me from Puerto Rico.”
Carey also revealed that their ’12 Days of Christmas’ book deal featuring Monroe and Moroccan is currently on hold. “Nick jumps the gun. He jumps the gun and that’s all I’m gonna say. I’m not ready to talk about any babies’ books or anything like that,” said the star.
Nick and Mariah are expected to release Roc and Roe’s 12 Days of Christmas later this year. The couple’s partnership with Scholastic was announced a few weeks ago with the publishing company describing the book as one that “follows Roc and Roe as they put their own unique spin on the Christmas carol.”
Monroe and Moroccan will celebrate their third birthdays in April.
