Many awards were given out and several performances were off the charts but the center of attraction at this year’s Grammys was Ciara. The singer not only performed at an after party event but she also attended the Grammy Awards ceremony, wearing a dress that showed off her baby bump.
Ciara hit the red carpet in a brown gown that hugged her curves and accented her bump well. The singer glowed as photographers took pictures of her before the event. Ciara gave media insight into her flawless look, telling E! that it took a lot of patience and three fittings to get her dress right. “My good friend Peter Dundas at Emilio Pucci did this for me and it was so sweet because I had, like, three fittings, one in Milan, and he had to do a sample dress, like, all kind of fun things to make it happen, but its really cool because you kind of have a special moment like, ‘Wow this is really happening,'” said the star.
The ‘I’m Out’ singer also discussed her cravings telling media, “It’s not one particular thing, I just have a habit of eating the same thing over and over and over. So if I have a barbecue chicken salad, I’ll do it every day of the week.”
Ciara confirmed her pregnancy a few weeks back, expressing nothing but excitement to the ladies of The View. “I’m so excited,” gushed the star. “Last year was, like, the best year of my life. Being able to get a fresh start with a new label…and of course the engagement.”
