Mariah Carey is mama bear and Moroccan is one of her little cubs. The singer spent MLK day with her family, thanking Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., for changing the community and world with his message of nonviolence. “Thank you Dr. Martin Luther King for moving mountains and changing our world,” tweeted Carey. “Happy Martin Luther King Day,” wrote the singer in another post.
Mariah has expressed nothing but gratitude in being a wife and mother telling media, “I never thought I’d experience motherhood. My career was my life. [But] when you find the right person, you [want to] go through it…I’m so in love. Every moment is incredible.”
The singer’s husband, Nick Cannon, has also expressed his love for Mariah sharing with Ebony magazine, “It was early on when I found out how spiritual she was, and we had conversations about kids and how to live life. For her to share these values, it instantly let me know this is the person I’ve always wanted.”
Nick and Mariah have two kids, Monroe and Moroccan, together. The couple wed more than five years ago.
