Paris was moved to a boarding school in Utah shortly after being released from the hospital for attempting suicide in June of last year. The teen has been recovering away from the bright lights of Hollywood ever since, only returning home for the Christmas holiday.

Katherine Jackson is the legal guardian of Paris and her brothers Prince and Blanket. The matriarch of the family discussed Paris’ suicide attempt and recovery a few months ago telling media, “The treatment is going good, really good. She’s my baby. It’s hard for me, really hard. All I wanted [was] these kids to be is happy. The night Michael died Paris was crying and said, ‘I want to go and see daddy; I don’t want to be without him.'”

Michael Jackson passed away in 2009.
