Matthew Knowles may be telling the truth about the mix-up in child support payments but his cooperation, and lack thereof, is not helping the situation. The producer was a no-show to his court date earlier this month, making critics believe AlexSandra Wright when she says that he hasn’t made support payments for their son, Nixon, in months.
Radar Online recently spoke with a family friend who said that their greatest concern is that little Nixon will suffer for his father’s decisions. “Friends and family are growing increasingly worried about the damage being done to Nixon by his biological father denying his existence and allowing the public to bash his mother,” shared the source. “Mathew continues to fuel the fire by making public statements insinuating that Alex is lying about all of this, but every time he has been proven wrong. AlexSandra just wants the truth to come out. And the only way that this will happen is if Mathew Knowles is held accountable for his actions and his child like every other citizen in this country!”
Knowles was scheduled to appear in court on Friday, December 13, 2013, to explain why there are no records of him paying child support for two months in a row. Matthew claims that he did pay AlexSandra the agreed $12,000 per month, and only owes her for December’s payment. It was expected that the producer would show up to court to state his claim but such action did not occur on his behalf. AlexSandra’s case will go before the courts again next month wherein Matthew will have another opportunity to defend himself.
Nixon Knowles is Matthew’s only child with AlexSandra.
