After being accused of missing two child support payments totaling $24,000, and being summoned to court to explain himself, Matthew Knowles is speaking out about his agreement with AlexSandra Wright. The producer recently told media that he paid the mother of his 3-year-old son $24,000 and is now only responsible for giving $12,000 in support for December.

TMZ reports,

“Beyonce’s father is hitting back against accusations he’s a deadbeat dad … he claims he paid what he owes in child support … it’s just a paperwork screw up.

According to sources familiar with the situation, a few of the payments were only slightly late, but past the deadline for being credited, so it appeared Mathew didn’t fork over what he owed.

Here’s the problem… Mathew is now behind for  December — payment was due on the 1st.  We’re told he plans to pay up before it officially becomes delinquent.”

Mr. Knowles is scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles court on Friday (December 13) to explain his delinquent status in child support payments. Nixon Knowles is Matthew’s only child with AlexSandra Wright.
