Toni Braxton did it big at the 30th Annual Breeders’ Cup “Songs In The Saddle” music festival at Santa Anita Park on Sunday (November 3). The singer connected with her audience and delivered several hits that the crowd thoroughly enjoyed. As an added incentive, Toni had her sons Diezel and Denim at the festival to accompany her while she delivered songs.
Diezel sat close to Toni as she sang the hits while Denim hung out near the end of the stage. The eldest son of Braxton rocked a bow-tie with black slacks while Diezel showed off his suspenders with beige pants. Both boys wore cool tennis shoes, creating a style that was all their own.
Diezel has become quite the superstar since starring in a film with mom a few months back. Toni previously told media that she and her son were taking on acting roles in the anticipated film, Twist of Faith. “He was supposed to play my son initially but by the time we worked out the shooting schedule, school had started,” said Braxton. “Even though he’s considered high functioning right now, he wasn’t in the past, and that’s why I thought him carrying the movie and trying to do the movie and tutoring would have been too much for him. He was a little disappointed at first, but I think in the end, he’s happy about the turnout.”
Diezel and Denim are Toni Braxton’s sons with ex-husband, Keri Lewis. The couple divorced in 2012 after 11 years of marriage.
