Do mothers communicate with their children while giving birth? Beyonce sure does. The singer recently told Marie Claire that she and Blue had a connection long before giving birth that helped Bey during labor.
“I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door. And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn’t think about my own pain,” said the star.
“I felt very maternal around eight months,” Bey added. “And I thought I couldn’t become any more until I saw the baby…But it happened during my labor because I had a very strong connection with my child.”
Although public opinion may not always be favorable, Bey can count on Blue to lover her unconditionally. “She’s my road dog,” explained the celebrity. “She’s my homey, my best friend.”
Beyonce gave birth to Blue on January 7, 2012. She is the singer’s first child with husband, Jay-Z.
