Amar’e Stoudemire and the family stopped by Disney’s special screening of The Little Mermaid this past weekend. The star basketball player and his wife, Alexis, stood tall and proud as their kids showed off their humor and fashion sense on the red carpet. Assata and Ar’e smiled as they showed off their cool wear, while Amar’e Jr. gave photographers a hilarious look. Assata was especially dressed and ready for the occasion as she rocked what appeared to be a Little Mermaid costume.
Disney brings the thrill of the deep sea to a new generation with its newest version of The Little Mermaid. Although the story line is the same, Ariel and her friends are featured in 3D, which opens up a whole new world for viewers to see. Audience members can now be drawn into to the underwater kingdom, whereas in past times they could only imagine how it would feel to be a part of such royalty.
The Stoudemires were one family among many to enjoy the 3D and other new features that the film offered. Amar’e and Alexis have four kids together.
