Peek a boo! We don’t see you! Some celebs have become very good at hiding their kids from the public’s eye, but whatever for? One reason is fear. Wiz Khalifa revealed shortly after Sebastian’s birth that his son’s fragility brings about fear and skepticism that prevents him from showing off his little one like the average father would. “I’m like, defensive,” says the rapper. “I don’t want anybody to see him yet. I’m scared because he’s so young and so little.”
Beyonce has also admitted to being fearful of showing off her daughter, continuing to post pictures of Blue’s backside on Tumblr even though we’ve seen her in the public eye on numerous occasions. “I am very protective,” explains the star. “I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life… in the back of my mind, she’s my priority.”
Whether for fear or protection, these stars are not letting you get a full glimpse of their kids. Check out who else keeps their little ones away from the public.
Monica and Shannon Brown
The R&B singer gave birth to her and Shannon’s first child together on September 3, 2013, and have only shown her wrapped in blankets. Monica freely shows photos of her other two children, Rodney Jr. and Romelo, but is probably waiting for baby Laiyah to get a bit older before featuring her. Understandable.
Rasheeda and Kirk Frost
Rasheeda and Kirk Frost welcomed Karter into the world on August 21, 2013. Although the artist kept her fans abreast of the birthing process, she has yet to show social media a picture of her little guy. She has, however, uploaded a photo of her newborn having playtime with his daddy.
LaTavia Roberson
Latavia recently showed her fans a picture of her cradling her daughter Lyric shortly after the newborn was born. The singer has not shown us any pictures since then.
Harold Perrineau
We haven’t seen much of Harold Perrineau’s new bundle of joy since his wife, Brittany, gave birth in March. At the time of her birth, the Perrineaus expressed nothing but excitement telling the media, “Holiday Grace is here, and we couldn’t be any happier. Our family feels complete. Mommy and baby are doing well and big sisters Aurora and Wynter are [thrilled].”
